Fun-a-Day:
Fun-A-Day happens every year in cities around the country, and right here in Providence too! It is a challenge to do something creative (and fun) everyday for one month. The best Fun-A-Day events engage entire communities in the wonder of creating. Fun-A-Day always ends in an awesome art show and community party. Anyone can participate, anyone can come. Providence Fun-A-Day started in 2011. Over 30 participating 'artists' contributed work and more than 300 people came to our show. You can check out pictures of the first event here. Fun-A-Day returned in 2012 and 2013, each with roughly 30-40 artists! Each year, we see new faces and find inspiration in the energy of returning artists.Who are we?
We are Providence! Thank you to the artists who have participated in past years. Without your creativity and community spirit, Fun-A-Day would not be here.
We also owe a big thanks to the organizing committees who have brought Fun-A-Day to Providence for the past few years. Major gratitude for paving the way, people.
